Dan Zanes: Night Time

Hello lovers of the night. Here is some night time music. you could also call it firefly music, shadow music, rainstorm music, bat music, streetlight music, dinner music, moon and stars music, flashlight music, or dream music.
Of course you can play it in the morning or in the afternoon (a fine idea!) and it should sound lively and lovely, but i think that this collection of songs will be particularly thrilling once the sun has set and the neighborhood has relaxed.

Sometimes when I'm listening to night time music I lie on my back in the middle of the floor and let the tunes and the stories take me on a trip.

I hope that when you listen to this you can picture friends gathering at my house, joking, tuning instruments, trading ideas, writing in notebooks, eating all the food in the cupboards, and, somewhere along the line, playing these songs.
